MY REVIEW: I’ve been out of the book review game for a while but boy oh boy, was this the right one to get me back on track! Those that know me are aware of my Melissa Foster fangirl status. That being said I really can’t stand reading a book if it doesn’t pull me in. I hadn’t been reading much in the recet past and I was hoping this book would grab me…..and boy did it! 

I found it hard to put down after the first page pulled me in, with an uncanny resemblance to my own life in a few ways. I was hooked (and that’s even before Bear entered the pic)! I absolutely loved the evolution of Crystal. Watching her learn, grow and persevere over any and all obstacles made me love her and seeing her ultimate strong girl moment at the end made me love her even more! Crystal needed a strong Bear of a man to pull her out of the protective shell she’d built around herself. She neded him to help her find out which version of her was the real one……or had she even found it yet? This book is a must read! From the beautiful love story to the heartbreaking family issues that both Bear and Crystal deal with over time, this book has it all. Can Crystal overcome the past that made her continually reinvent herself or can she move on and have the life she always wanted (and the life her father most likely wanted her to have).
